Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with GCC construction experience, to support the successful execution of building projects. The Architect will be responsible for architectural coordination, shop drawings, material approvals, site supervision, quality inspections, and coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure all architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Review architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural shop drawings and construction details.

Coordinate architectural works with Civil, Structural, MEP, and Interior disciplines.

Supervise architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate with consultants and clients to resolve technical issues and obtain approvals.

Prepare and submit material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and technical documents.

Monitor site progress and ensure architectural activities are completed as per the project schedule.

Inspect finishing works including blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, ceilings, painting, doors, windows, façades, and fit-out works.

Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.

Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely execution of works.

Participate in project meetings and provide technical support during construction.

Prepare snagging and de-snagging reports and monitor close-out activities.

Prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), project specifications, and HSE requirements.

Assist in value engineering and design optimization where applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

Minimum 5 years of experience in building construction projects.

GCC experience is preferred.

Experience working with a main contractor is preferred.

Good knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and construction standards.

BIM knowledge is an advantage
