Position: QA/QC

Experience: 1 year

Duties & Responsibilities – Steel Structure Construction

QA (Quality Assurance) – Plan, control the system, prevent defects

Implement the Quality Management Plan / QMS for the steel structure project.

Review and approve key documents before work starts:

ITP (Inspection & Test Plan)

WPS/PQR (for welding), WPQR where applicable

Method statements, erection plans, painting/coating procedures

Approved shop drawings, specifications, and project standards

Ensure contract/client requirements and relevant standards are followed (e.g., fabrication & welding, coatings, tolerances).

Coordinate document control & traceability, including:

Mill certificates (MTC)

Material test reports (NDT/chemical/mechanical)

Calibration certificates (for gauges/tools)

Ensure welding & painting procedures are qualified and authorized.

Conduct internal audits / quality inspections and ensure closure of findings.

Establish nonconformance management system:

raise NCRs, track corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)

Maintain QA records and prepare submissions for client/review (e.g., quality dossiers).
