JOB VACANCY – PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

Khawas Al Holol Co. for Contracting is looking for one qualified Procurement Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for project materials and services.

• Prepare and send RFQs, review quotations, and prepare comparison sheets.

• Coordinate with project teams, technical departments, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery.

• Review technical specifications, BOQ, drawings, material requirements, and project documents before procurement.

• Prepare purchase orders, material submittals, procurement reports, and follow-up logs.

• Monitor delivery schedules, supplier performance, material availability, and procurement status.

• Support cost control by comparing prices, negotiating rates, and ensuring compliance with project budgets.

• Coordinate with accounts, stores, logistics, and site teams for smooth procurement operations.

• Maintain proper records of quotations, approvals, purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and supplier documents.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of construction materials, civil, architectural, MEP, aluminum, glass, finishing, and general contracting works.

• Ability to read BOQ, drawings, specifications, scope documents, and material requirements accurately.

• Strong skills in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation, procurement planning, and documentation.

• Good knowledge of local Saudi market suppliers and subcontractors is preferred.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, procurement tracking, comparison sheets, and reporting.

• Good communication, coordination, negotiation, and time management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement within contracting or construction projects.

• Must be currently available in Saudi Arabia.
