Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman – Joinery & Fit-Outs to prepare accurate shop drawings and technical drawings for custom joinery and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the design, production, and project teams to ensure drawings are suitable for manufacturing and site installation.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and as-built drawings for joinery and interior fit-out projects.

• Develop accurate 2D plans, elevations, sections, and detailed joinery drawings using AutoCAD.

• Prepare fabrication drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, doors, wall cladding, ceilings, partitions, and other fit-out elements.

• Review architectural and interior design drawings to ensure accurate detailing and coordination.

• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions prior to preparing final shop drawings.

• Prepare material take-offs, cutting lists, and basic Bills of Quantities (BOQs) as required.

• Coordinate with the Design, Estimation, Production, and Project teams to resolve technical and drawing-related issues.

• Revise drawings based on client comments, consultant approvals, and site requirements.

• Ensure all drawings comply with approved designs, project specifications, and production requirements.

• Maintain accurate drawing records, revisions, and document control throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Draftsman in joinery and interior fit-out, preferably in the GCC.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, fit-out materials, and production methods.

• Ability to interpret architectural, interior design, and construction drawings.

• Knowledge of shop drawing standards, material take-offs, BOQs, and fabrication drawings.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Preferred).

IT/ Software Proficiency

• AutoCAD (Mandatory)

• Microsoft Office

• SketchUp or similar 3D software (Preferred)

License / Certifications / Training

• AutoCAD certification or relevant drafting certification (Preferred).
