Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate international import and export shipments.
* Prepare and verify shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs documents.
* Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, and transport companies.
* Track shipments and provide regular updates to management and customers.
* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
* Arrange customs clearance and resolve any shipment-related issues.
* Monitor shipping schedules and delivery timelines.
* Negotiate freight rates and shipping costs with logistics service providers.
* Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
* Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Prepare logistics reports, shipment status reports, and cost analyses.
* Handle insurance claims and resolve damaged or delayed shipment issues.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and international shipping standards.
