Job Purpose
The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing, guiding, and motivating a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets within the food distribution sector. This role requires strong on-the-ground leadership, excellent route management, and deep knowledge of the local FMCG/food market to expand our market share and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a team of sales representatives to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets are met.
• Route & Territory Management: Maximize distribution efficiency by organizing daily schedules and utilizing extensive knowledge of local routes.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with existing B2B clients (groceries, supermarkets, wholesalers) and actively prospect for new accounts.
• Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and pricing structures within the food distribution industry to provide actionable feedback to management.
• Performance Tracking: Conduct regular performance reviews of the sales team, monitor inventory levels on delivery trucks, and ensure accurate reporting of sales data.
Job Requirements
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience specifically within the Food Distribution Industry or FMCG sector.
• Language: Full proficiency in the Arabic language (written and spoken) is required to successfully communicate with clients and team members.
• Mobility: Must possess a Valid Saudi Driving License and a solid, practical knowledge of local routes.
• Skills: Exceptional team management, communication, negotiation, and supervisory skills.
