Job Title: Accountant

Location: Bahrain

Requirements:

* Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience in Bahrain.

* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Strong knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations and financial reporting requirements.

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

* Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

* Knowledge of construction industry accounting will be an advantage.

* Good communication and analytical skills.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.

* Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and journal entries.

* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

* Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

* Process payroll and employee-related payments.

* Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with Bahrain regulations.

* Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

* Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, clients, and banks as required.

* Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Preferred: Candidates currently available in Bahrain with experience in construction, contracting, or engineering companies.
