Duties and Responsibilities of a Reservation Staff
A Reservation Staff member is responsible for managing bookings and ensuring a smooth reservation process for customers. Key duties and responsibilities include:
Handle Reservation Requests
Receive and process reservations via phone, email, website, or in person.
Provide accurate information about availability, rates, services, and policies.
Confirm and Update Bookings
Enter reservation details accurately into the reservation system.
Send booking confirmations and update records when changes occur.
Manage Cancellations and Modifications
Process cancellations, amendments, and rescheduling requests.
Ensure all changes are recorded correctly and communicated to relevant departments.
Provide Customer Service
Answer customer inquiries professionally and courteously.
Assist guests with special requests and resolve booking-related issues.
Coordinate with Other Departments
Communicate reservation details to front office, housekeeping, sales, operations, or other relevant teams.
Ensure guest requirements are properly arranged before arrival.
Maintain Reservation Records
Keep accurate and up-to-date reservation files and databases.
Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reservation reports as required.
Process Payments and Documentation

Maximize Sales Opportunities

Follow Company Policies
