Safety Supervisor – Basic Job Tasks
Conduct daily site safety inspections.
Ensure workers wear required PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, etc.).
Monitor housekeeping and workplace cleanliness.
Report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Check fire extinguishers and emergency equipment.
Maintain safety records and inspection reports.
Assist with incident and near-miss reporting.
Ensure safety signs and notices are displayed properly.
Monitor work permits and verify compliance.
Guide workers on basic safety procedures.
Participate in emergency drills.
Follow up on corrective actions from safety inspections.
Coordinate with site supervisors on safety matters.
Ensure walkways and emergency exits remain clear.
