Experienced Car Denter from India

A car denter (Auto Body Technician) restores collision-damaged vehicles to their original structural and cosmetic condition. They specialize in repairing dents, realigning frames, and replacing or patching damaged metal and fiberglass panels using specialized hand tools and welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Damage Assessment: Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of the damage and estimate repair costs.

• Dent & Panel Repair: Hammer, pull, and reshape dented metal panels; use specialized suction tools, hydraulic jacks, and dollies to smooth out bodywork.

• Frame Alignment: Use frame-straightening machines to realign car chassis and unit body structures back to factory specifications.

• Welding & Fabrication: Cut, weld (MIG, spot, or aluminum), and bond replacement parts or fabricated panels into place.

• Surface Preparation: Fill, grind, sand, and smooth repaired areas with body filler to prepare surfaces for painting and detailing.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to shop safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) like respirators during grinding and welding.

Essential Requirements

• Experience: Typically requires 3-4 years of hands-on experience in automotive bodywork, frame straightening, and metalworking.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency with power tools (grinders, sanders), hydraulic frame machines, and welding equipment.

• Physical & Spatial Abilities: High level of hand-eye coordination, physical stamina to lift heavy parts, and the ability to stand for long periods.

• Certifications: Vocational diplomas or official certifications in Auto Body Repair are highly preferred by most employers.

• Duty: 8 to 10 Hours.

• Weekly one day off.

• Salary based on experience (BHD140.000 to 170.000)
