Duties and Responsibilities of Accounts Staff
Record daily financial transactions accurately.
Prepare invoices, receipts, vouchers, and payment documents.
Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances.
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
Support payroll processing and salary payments.
Prepare tax documents and assist with tax compliance.
Monitor company expenses and budget records.
Ensure accuracy of financial data and accounting entries.
Assist during internal and external audits.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
Use accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
Coordinate with other departments regarding financial and accounting matters.
