Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Repair:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on CNC machines and their integrated mechatronic systems (mechanical, electrical, and electronic components).
Diagnose and repair issues in CNC equipment, including servo motors, drives, sensors, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
Replace or repair defective components such as circuit boards, sensors, actuators, bearings, and belts.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve complex mechatronic problems in CNC machinery using diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals.
Collaborate with mechanical and electronic technicians to address interdisciplinary issues.
Analyze system performance and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems.
Installation & Calibration:
Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new CNC machines and mechatronic systems.
Calibrate and configure mechanical, electrical, and electronic components to ensure precise operation and alignment with production requirements.


Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and system modifications for future reference.
Report recurring issues, system inefficiencies, and potential improvements to the maintenance supervisor.

Qualifications:
Education:
Associate degree or certification in Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
Additional certifications in CNC machinery, PLC programming, or industrial automation are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working with CNC machines and mechatronic systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing integrated mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
Experience in a steel manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems, including PLCs, servo motors, drives, sensors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and electronic schematics.
Familiarity with CNC programming, automation software, and diagnostic tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
