Carry out required daily electrical maintenance work and routine preventive electrical maintenance work according to set schedule and procedures to facilitate continuous operations.

1 – Monitor the physical condition of all equipment in assigned plant and report to maintenance engineer.

2 – Respond to electrical failure and implement corrective actions in adherence with procedures and guidelines to reduce downtime and maximize functionality of equipment.

3 – Troubleshooting, which includes diagnosis , repairing and testing circuit or wiring faults, locating faults in cables. Diagnose causes of electrical malfunctioning or failure of operational equipment such as CNC machines, electrical panels, air compressors, lathe, rolling and hydraulic machines.

4 – Troubleshooting motors, relays, switches.

5 – Read and understand technical manuals, wiring diagrams etc.

Install welding machines and equipment’s according to specifications and safety guidelines.

6 – Conduct routine inspections of welding machines to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdown.

7 – Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with welding machines, including electrical and mechanical faults. Repair or replace faulty components or parts on welding machines.

8 – Keep detailed record of repairs, maintenance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Electrical & mechanical services of lifting equipment including but not limited to the inspection of gearbox, and oil level , familiar with EOT cranes motors, hoist ,control system and VFD drives troubleshooting.

9 – Repair and modify lifting equipment’s as required. Clean, lubricate and perform other general maintenance duties on lifting equipment.

10 – Test each crane repair for complete functionality .

11 – Electrical panels modifications, breaker sizing according to load, breaker testing and wiring termination in electrical panels.

12 – Maintenance and repairing experience in rolling machines, oxy cutting, drill machines, grinders, all type of welding machines, welding ovens.

13 – Candidate should be familiar with Residential & industrial wiring, like lights installation , power sockets installation, cable termination of industrial sockets.

14 – Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

15 – Familiar with electrical compressor control system troubleshooting.

Inventory:

Check the necessary stock levels of spare parts and consumables to support effective inventory control

Documentation:

Update the maintenance logbook and record details like daily progress report, breakdown records, KPI record.

Health, safety, and Environment:

Understanding of EHS process for LOTO, confined spaces, work at height, electrical safety.

Be familiar with the emergency procedures.

Minimum qualification:

A Technical Certificate/ Associate Diploma in Electrical Maintenance.

Minimum Experience:

5-6 years’ experience in electrical maintenance as a technician in installation, preventive maintenance and repair of electrical equipment’s and installation in a plant environment.

Gulf experience will be preferable.

Iqama should be transferable (Direct Company Hiring)
