# Job Description – Civil Engineer (SCIS/HCIS & Stage 3 Design)

## Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in industrial, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing and delivering projects in compliance with *Supreme Commission for Industrial Security (SCIS)* / *High Commission for Industrial Security (HCIS)* requirements and hands-on experience in *Stage 3 (Detailed Design)* engineering. Previous experience on Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or other industrial projects is highly preferred.

## Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and review Stage 3 (Detailed Design) civil engineering deliverables.

* Develop civil and structural design drawings, calculations, specifications, and construction details.

* Ensure compliance with SCIS/HCIS requirements, Saudi Building Code (SBC), and applicable international standards.

* Coordinate with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and ICT disciplines.

* Review design packages, vendor drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.

* Perform engineering calculations, quantity take-offs, BOQs, and technical evaluations.

* Provide technical support during construction, inspections, and project execution.

* Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP meetings (where applicable), and client coordination meetings.

* Resolve engineering and construction-related technical issues.

* Ensure engineering deliverables are completed on schedule and meet quality and safety requirements.

## Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

* 5–7 years of relevant experience in industrial, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.

* Demonstrated experience with SCIS/HCIS standards and security requirements for industrial facilities.

* Experience in Stage 3 (Detailed Design) engineering.

* Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), ACI, AISC, ASTM, and other relevant international standards.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Experience with Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAFE, or similar engineering software is an advantage.

* Ability to prepare engineering calculations, design reports, BOQs, and technical documentation.

* Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

* Experience working on Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, or similar industrial projects is preferred.

## Preferred Skills

* Knowledge of industrial security design requirements for critical infrastructure.

* Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

* Familiarity with engineering quality management systems and document control procedures.

* Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks while meeting project deadlines.

* Strong understanding of construction methods, site coordination, and engineering best practices.
