Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tile Mason with 2 to 5 years of practical experience in commercial or residential construction. You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, and laying various types of tiles onto floors and walls.

The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, clean alignments, and high-quality finishing work.

Key Responsibilities

Surface Preparation: Clean, level, and prepare walls and floors before beginning layout work.

Material Mixing: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, glue, or mastic using trowels.

Precision Layout: Measure, mark, and align layout patterns according to blueprints, drawings, or sketches.

Cutting & Shaping: Cut and shape tiles accurately using wet saws, tile scribes, and handheld cutters.

Tile Installation: Lay ceramic, porcelain, marble, slate, and stone tiles with uniform spacing and perfect alignment.

Finishing Work: Apply grout between tiles, clean surface residue, and apply sealants for moisture protection.

Repairs: Replace damaged tiles and repair existing grout lines during renovation projects.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of proven work experience as a Tile Mason, Tile Setter, or Finisher.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in operating tile cutters, wet saws, levels, and traditional hand tools.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Attention to Detail: Excellent eye for symmetry, straight lines, geometric patterns, and smooth finishing.

Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to coordinate effectively with site foremen and teammates.
