Housekeeping Manager
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping operations and ensure exceptional cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across our hotel.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee all housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Plan, organize, and supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping team.
* Ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained in accordance with hotel standards.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality, cleanliness, and compliance with operational procedures.
* Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance.
* Prepare staff schedules and allocate resources efficiently to meet operational needs.
* Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
* Monitor housekeeping supplies and inventory, ensuring cost-effective stock management.
* Manage departmental budgets and control operating expenses while maintaining service quality.
* Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations and hotel policies.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of housekeeping experience**, including **at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role** within the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and quality control procedures.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (PMS) is preferred.
* Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
