Core Responsibilities

Blueprint Interpretation: Analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to determine the precise layout, dimensions, and materials needed.

Material Preparation: Calculate material quantities, mix mortar, grout, or cement to the correct consistency, and cut materials to size using masonry saws and chisels.

Construction & Installation: Lay bricks, blocks, and stones to build walls, partitions, maintenance holes, chimneys, and foundations.

Structural Integrity: Install anchor bolts, steel rods, and ties to reinforce structures. Use measuring instruments like levels and plumb lines to ensure all work is perfectly straight and level.

Maintenance & Repair: Patch defects, fill expansion joints, apply waterproofing, and repair damaged masonry.

Safety & Compliance: Adhere to general construction safety regulations, wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean job site.
