Welding QC – Job Description

Performed quality control activities for piping and structural welding works in accordance with project specifications and approved procedures.

Verified WPS, PQR, WPQ, welding consumables, and material traceability before welding.

Conducted fit-up, in-process, and final visual inspection of welded joints.

Coordinated and monitored NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) and reviewed test reports.

Ensured compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, ASME Section IX, ASME B31.3, API, and AWS codes.

Maintained weld maps, inspection reports, and QA/QC documentation.

Coordinated with construction, fabrication, and client teams to resolve quality issues.

Raised NCRs, monitored corrective actions, and ensured timely closure.

Verified repair welding activities and ensured compliance with approved procedures.

Supported successful project completion by maintaining high-quality welding standards and documentation.

Note:

Rate: SAR 75/hour (monthly salary basis).

The above rate is applicable after successfully passing the client test.

If the candidate demonstrates excellent performance during the project, the rate may be revised and increased based on performance evaluation
