A reputed company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with following expertise.

Job Description: Electrical Engineer (Industrial Projects,

Costing & Estimation)

Summary

A detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in industrial and factory

projects, specializing in electrical installation, costing, estimation, and project execution.

Skilled in preparing BOQs, reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with contractors, and

ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, material take-offs, and pricing for industrial electrical

systems.

• Lead electrical teams and supervise subcontractors.

• Manage project budgets and ensure cost control.

• Review and approve technical submittals and vendor documents.

• Review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), load schedules, and project

specifications.

• Perform site surveys to assess electrical requirements for factories and industrial

facilities.

• Supervise installation of LV panels, MCCs, transformers, cable trays, motors,

earthing systems, and industrial wiring.

• Coordinate with suppliers for material quotations, technical submittals, and price

negotiations.

• Prepare tender documents, technical proposals, and comparison sheets.

• Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC, SEC, and local authority regulations.

• Support testing and commissioning of electrical equipment such as motors, control

panels, and protection systems.

• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and support project planning and

scheduling.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize material selection.

• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and automation teams for integrated industrial

solutions.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and control

systems.

• Expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and BOQ preparation.

• Familiarity with factory electrical layouts, machinery power requirements, and cable

sizing.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.

• Understanding of protection systems, earthing, and industrial safety standards.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• 5 years of experience in industrial/factory electrical projects, costing, and

estimation.

• Experience in contracting, EPC, or industrial construction companies.
