About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented Senior Data Scientist to developadvanced machine learning and statistical solutions that drive measurable business impact. This rolefocuses on predictive modeling, explainable AI (xAI), time series forecasting, and statistical diagnosticsto support strategic and operational decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong expertise in applied statistics, machine learning, and businessanalytics, with the ability to translate complex business challenges into scalable data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business, product, and operational stakeholders to translate objectives into analyticalframeworks, predictive models, and actionable insights

Identify and prioritize data science initiatives that deliver measurable business value

Develop, validate, deploy, and monitor machine learning and statistical models

Build time series and forecasting models for operational planning, demand prediction, andoptimization

Perform diagnostic statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimentation to identify trends,anomalies, and root causes

Apply xAI and model interpretability techniques to ensure transparency and trust in outputs

Design and maintain feature engineering and analytical pipelines

Monitor model performance, drift, stability, and retraining requirements

Ensure scalability, reproducibility, and reliability of analytical solutions in production

Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to technical and non-technicalstakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical

Strong programming skills in Python (Scikit-learn, XGBoost) and SQL

Predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, and model evaluation

Time series analysis and forecasting

Explainable AI (xAI) and model interpretability

Feature engineering and analytical pipeline development

Causal analysis, experimentation, and hypothesis testing

Model monitoring and drift detection

CI/CD workflows and MLOps practices

Business & Communication

Translating analytical findings into clear business recommendations

Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Business acumen with focus on operational and strategic impact

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Econometrics, ora related quantitative field

5+ years of experience in data science, applied statistics, or machine learning

GCC or Saudi market experience is a plus
