Role Overview

The Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts within the oil and gas industry. This role requires strong technical understanding, commercial acumen, and the ability to build long-term relationships with OCTG manufacturers, drilling contractors, and field service companies.

Key Responsibilities



Identify, pursue, and secure new business/potential opportunities across upstream, focus on the OCTG and Drilling Contractors.



Manage and support sales director for the full sales cycle from lead generation to make deals.



Maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and upsell opportunities.



Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to technical and procurement teams.



Identify operational pain points and recommend suitable equipment or service solutions with internal teams.



Deliver product training to customers.



Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.



Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions.



Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operations, finance) to ensure

successful project delivery.



Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records.



Track performance and gather customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications



Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Engineering, Business, or related field in Oil and Gas.



2–5 years of sales experience in the oil & gas industry.



Understanding of drilling, completions, production, field services or OCTG.



Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.



Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.



Ability to travel to client sites, rigs, and industry events in GCC.

Preferred Skills



Experience selling technical equipment, chemicals, valves, instrumentation, or service packages



Existing network within major drilling operators and OCTG manufacturers.



Knowledge of tendering processes in the GCC.
