Cashier

To provide excellent customer service, manage sales transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Welcome customers and provide professional service.
* Process customer orders through the POS system.
* Receive cash and electronic payments and issue receipts.
* Ensure accuracy in daily sales transactions.
* Coordinate customer orders with the kitchen and production team.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
* Handle customer inquiries and basic complaints professionally.
* Support sales growth through product recommendations and upselling.
* Ensure availability of packaging materials and daily operational needs.
* Follow company policies and procedures.

Financial Responsibilities:

* Accurately handle cash and electronic payments.
* Reconcile daily sales with cash drawer balances.
* Prepare daily cashier closing reports.
* Report any discrepancies or errors immediately.
* Maintain responsibility for assigned cash funds.

Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier in a restaurant, bakery, café, or retail environment.
* Experience using POS systems.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.
* Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.
* Professional appearance and attitude.
* Arabic language proficiency is required; English is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in restaurants or bakeries.
* Experience handling delivery platform orders.
* Strong sales and customer service skills.
* Candidates currently residing in Oman.
