Environmental Specialist – Mining Sector Multiple Remote Site Locations (KSA)

Full‑time On‑site Deployment

A leading organization in the Saudi Arabian mining sector is seeking qualified Environmental Specialists to support environmental compliance, monitoring, reporting, and sustainability initiatives across multiple remote operational sites. The role requires strong technical capability, field presence, and adherence to national environmental regulations and internal HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Work under the guidance of the client’s EHSS team

Conduct daily environmental inspections and identify non‑compliance issues

Coordinate environmental monitoring programs with third‑party providers

Maintain environmental risk registers and improvement action lists

Investigate and report environmental incidents

Support waste management processes (storage, segregation, disposal)

Conduct environmental self‑assessments and audits

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly environmental reports

Participate in site meetings and provide environmental guidance

Support emergency preparedness and response activities

Deliver awareness sessions for employees and contractors

Monitor EHSS compliance across all site activities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science

Experience in industrial environmental work (mining experience preferred)

Knowledge of KSA environmental regulations (MEWA, NCEC, MIM)

Strong reporting, inspection, and compliance skills

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Ability to communicate effectively in English

Work Locations

Multiple remote mining sites across the Kingdom (exact locations will be shared during the selection process).

Work Schedule

On‑site: Sunday to Saturday (Friday off), 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Flexibility required for critical tasks outside normal hours
