Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to manage heavy and light truck operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily dispatch execution, trip planning, driver coordination, real-time follow-up, and ensuring smooth communication between drivers, operations, suppliers, and customers.

This role requires someone who can make decisions, solve operational issues, and maintain control over multiple trips simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

– Plan and assign daily trips for heavy and light trucks.

– Coordinate own fleet and outsourced trucks.

– Follow trips from assignment until delivery.

– Handle real-time operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, route changes, and customer requirements.

– Ensure on-time pickup and delivery performance.

– Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and operations teams.

– Maintain accurate records of trips, delivery status, and operational issues.

– Monitor driver performance and trip execution.

– Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety requirements.

– Escalate exceptions and solve problems proactively.

Requirements:

– Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation dispatching or fleet operations.

– Experience managing heavy trucks and long-haul transportation operations.

– Experience coordinating both company fleet and outsourced carriers is highly preferred.

– Strong knowledge of trip planning and route scheduling.

– Ability to manage multiple trips simultaneously under pressure.

– Strong follow-up, communication, and problem-solving skills.

– Good computer skills (Excel, transportation systems, GPS tracking systems).

– Arabic speaker preferred.
