Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/Pharm.D) or equivalent.

Valid NHRA Pharmacist License in Bahrain.

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant pharmacy experience preferred.

Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medication management, and NHRA regulations.

Proficient in pharmacy software and basic computer applications.

Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and provide appropriate counseling on dosage, usage, side effects, drug interactions, and storage.

Handle narcotic, psychotropic, and controlled medicines in compliance with NHRA regulations.

Maintain pharmacy records, controlled drug registers, and all NHRA-required documentation.

Monitor pharmacy temperature records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Manage inventory, including stock receiving, storage, expiry monitoring, stock replenishment, and periodic stock counts.

Ensure proper arrangement and display of medicines and healthcare products.

Process prescriptions, billing, insurance documentation, and corporate accounts.

Handle daily cash transactions, cash reconciliation, and cash handover procedures.

Coordinate with suppliers and arrange medications not readily available in the pharmacy.

Ensure smooth pharmacy operations and address pharmacy software-related issues.
