Job Title: Document Controller (Aconex)

Job Summary:

The Document Controller is responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining all project documents and records through the Aconex Document Management System. The role requires coordination with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical teams to ensure accurate document submission, tracking, approval, and distribution in accordance with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Minimum 2 year GCC experience

* Manage all project documentation using Aconex.

* Upload, distribute, track, and archive project documents, drawings, and correspondence.

* Maintain document control registers and ensure proper revision control.

* Coordinate with Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical engineers for document submissions and approvals.

* Monitor document workflows and follow up on pending approvals.

* Ensure compliance with project document control procedures and client requirements.

* Generate reports on document status, transmittals, and approvals.

* Maintain accurate records of RFIs, method statements, material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documents.

* Support project teams in document retrieval and record management.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Document Controller in construction or engineering projects.

* Strong working knowledge of Aconex Document Management System.

* Understanding of Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical project documentation.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

* Good communication and organizational skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.

Preferred: Candidates currently available in Bahrain with experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects
