Reservation Staff Duties

A Reservation Staff member is responsible for managing bookings and assisting customers before their arrival or use of services.

Main Duties:

Answer phone calls, emails, and online reservation inquiries.

Make, modify, and cancel reservations according to customer requests.

Check availability of rooms, seats, tables, tours, or services.

Provide customers with information about rates, packages, facilities, and company policies.

Confirm reservations and send booking details to customers.

Maintain accurate reservation records in the booking system.

Process payments, deposits, and billing information when required.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure reservations are properly arranged.

Handle special requests and customer concerns professionally.

Follow up on reservation changes, no-shows, and cancellations.

Prepare daily reservation reports and occupancy/booking updates.

Ensure customer information is kept confidential and secure.
