### Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer with extensive expertise in fire protection and firefighting projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource allocation, delay analysis, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires close coordination with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

### Key Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

* Prepare baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), resource-loaded schedules, and cash flow forecasts.

* Monitor project progress against approved baselines and identify schedule deviations.

* Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays.

* Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, earned value analysis, and KPI reports.

* Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning teams to ensure schedule alignment.

* Review project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and contract requirements to establish project timelines.

* Track procurement activities for fire pumps, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, suppression systems, hydrant networks, and related fire protection equipment.

* Analyze project risks and develop mitigation and recovery plans.

* Prepare extension of time (EOT) claims, delay analysis reports, and supporting documentation when required.

* Participate in project meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

* Monitor manpower productivity and resource utilization to optimize project performance.

* Support project management in forecasting project completion dates and identifying potential schedule impacts.

* Ensure compliance with project contractual obligations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

### Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

* Professional certification in Primavera P6 is preferred.

### Experience Requirements

* Minimum 8–12 years of planning and scheduling experience in construction projects.

* At least 5 years of experience in fire protection, firefighting, and fire alarm system projects.

* Proven experience with commercial, industrial, infrastructure, data center, oil & gas, or high-rise building fire protection projects.

* Strong understanding of project controls, planning methodologies, and construction sequencing.

* Experience in EPC and MEP project environments is highly desirable.

### Technical Skills

* Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, Power BI, and project reporting tools.

* Knowledge of NFPA standards, fire protection systems, and related construction practices.

* Strong understanding of procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities for fire protection systems.

* Familiarity with delay analysis techniques and earned value management (EVM).
