The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project programs and

schedules.

This role ensures realistic, detailed plans are in place across the company’s projects, tracks progress

accurately, and provides analysis to support proactive management of schedule risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop master project programs, baseline schedules, and resource-loaded plans.

• Monitor project progress against baselines and prepare regular schedule updates.

• Identify schedule variances, critical path changes, and float consumption.

• Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and short-interval look-ahead programs.

• Coordinate with Project and Site teams to gather accurate progress data and forecasts.

• Support claims preparation with delay analysis, EOT narratives, and supporting records.

• Develop and maintain standard planning templates and procedures.

• Provide planning input during the tender phase, including construction programs and method

statements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 6 years of planning experience on construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

• Knowledge of delay analysis methodologies (TIA, Impacted As-Planned, Windows Analysis).
