CIVIL ENGINEER-EXPERIENCE IN SOLAR AND SUBSTATION

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.

Experience

5–10 years of civil construction experience.

Minimum 3 years of experience in utility-scale solar power projects.

Project Execution

Supervise and monitor all civil construction activities at the solar project site.

Ensure execution of works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of work.

Review construction drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.

Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams.

Supervise manpower, equipment, and material utilization.

Verify site measurements and contractor billing quantities.

Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for improvement.

Quality Management

Ensure compliance with approved Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures.

Conduct inspections and verify construction activities before consultant/client inspections.

Review material approvals, test reports, and inspection records.

Ensure all works meet project quality standards and specifications.

HSE Compliance

Implement project HSE requirements and promote a safe working environment.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and permit-to-work systems.

Participate in safety inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.

Maintain zero tolerance for unsafe practices.

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Maintain records of inspections, site instructions, and project correspondence.

Track quantities, material consumption, and work progress.

Support preparation of progress reports, billing records, and project documentation
