A leading organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking qualified professionals for the position of Technical Specialist / Senior Technical Specialist – Inorganic Analytical Chemistry.

Position Summary

The selected candidate will support laboratory operations by conducting routine sample analysis according to established methods and quality standards. The role requires strong expertise in ICP-MS and ICP-OES, along with a solid background in analytical chemistry, laboratory operations, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Conduct routine sample analysis following standard methods and quality procedures

✅ Perform sample preparation and microwave digestion for various sample matrices

✅ Operate and maintain ICP-MS and ICP-OES instruments

✅ Accurately record and report analytical results in laboratory systems (LIMS)

✅ Perform daily instrument performance checks and quality control procedures

✅ Troubleshoot analytical equipment and support maintenance activities

✅ Follow laboratory safety procedures and best practices

✅ Work effectively within a multidisciplinary laboratory team

Requirements

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field

✔ Master’s Degree is an advantage

✔ Minimum 2–3 years of laboratory bench experience

✔ Strong hands-on experience with ICP-MS and ICP-OES analysis

✔ Knowledge of sample preparation, microwave digestion, and spectroscopic techniques

✔ Laboratory troubleshooting and equipment maintenance experience

✔ Good written and verbal communication skills in English

✔ Experience working in a quality-controlled laboratory environment
