Experienced male or female local hire Travel Agent.

A travel agent designs, organizes, and books customized travel itineraries for leisure and business clients. They assess budgets, research accommodations and transportation, and provide expert advice on destinations, local customs, and travel requirements (like visas and health protocols).

Key Responsibilities

• Consultation & Planning: Meet with clients to determine their travel goals, preferences, dates, and budgets to craft tailored itineraries.

• Research & Booking: Use computerized reservation systems and vendor databases to book flights, hotels, tours, cruises, and rental cars.

• Advisory Services: Provide crucial details on passports, visa applications, required vaccinations, and local safety protocols.

• Customer Support: Assist clients during their trips by modifying bookings due to weather or emergencies, handling complaints, and processing refunds.

• Sales & Marketing: Meet sales targets by upselling premium travel packages, travel insurance, and excursion tickets.

Essential Skills

• Computer Proficiency: Strong ability to navigate Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and online booking platforms.

• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build rapport with clients and secure the best vendor rates.

• Organization: High attention to detail to juggle multiple bookings, itineraries, and client preferences.

• Problem-Solving: The ability to stay calm under pressure when handling sudden flight cancellations or itinerary disruptions.

• Duty: 9 am to 7 pm

• Weekly one day off.

• Salary depends on experience (BHD200.000 to 250.000)
