A Painter Polisher maintains and restores the aesthetic appeal of structures, furniture, and equipment. They prepare surfaces, mix paints and varnishes, apply finishes using brushes or sprayers, and polish materials to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Sand, strip, scrape, fill holes, and prime walls, wood, or metal before applying any finish.

• Painting: Apply interior and exterior paints, stains, and sealers using rollers, brushes, or spray guns.

• Polishing & Finishing: Polish wooden furniture, marble floors, and metal fixtures. Apply high-end finishes (e.g., lacquer, PU, NC) to joinery and surfaces.

• Color Matching: Accurately mix and match paints, varnishes, and stains to match existing décor or design specifications.

• Equipment Maintenance: Clean, repair, and properly store tools like sprayers, brushes, and rollers.

• Preventative Maintenance: Routinely inspect and repair damaged paint and polished surfaces.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety standards regarding the handling of flammable materials and toxic fumes, including wearing protective gear.

Common Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of verifiable experience in painting, polishing, and furniture refinishing.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.

• Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for identifying flaws in surfaces, uneven grain matches, or inconsistent color.

• Duty: 8 Hours + Overtime

• Weekly one day off.

• Salary BHD120.000 + Overtime.
