We Are Looking Electrical Supervisor (Min 7 Years Expr) Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities

Project Supervision

Supervise and coordinate daily electrical construction activities on-site (cable laying, terminations, tray installation, lighting, grounding, substations).

Ensure all work is executed according to ARAMCO standards (SAES, SAEP), approved drawings, and IFC documents.

Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet project deadlines.

Technical Oversight

Review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, method statements, and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).

Monitor installation of:

Medium & Low Voltage systems

Transformers and switchgear

Motors and control panels

Earthing & lightning protection systems

Identify and resolve technical issues during construction.

Quality Assurance & Control

Ensure compliance with QA/QC requirements and coordinate inspections with ARAMCO representatives.

Support QA/QC team in:

RFIs (Request for Inspection)

SAT/FAT participation

Punch list clearing

Ensure proper documentation and as-built drawings.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce strict adherence to ARAMCO HSE standards and PTW (Permit to Work) system.

Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and daily safety briefings.

Ensure all activities comply with:

Electrical safety procedures

Hazardous area classifications (explosion-proof equipment)

Maintain zero-incident safety performance.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Commissioning teams.

Attend site meetings with contractors and ARAMCO inspectors.

Prepare and submit:

Daily progress reports

Weekly schedules

Productivity and manpower reports

Testing & Commissioning Support

Supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Participate in functional testing, energization, and startup activities.

Ensure all test records and certifications are properly documented.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 7–12 years experience in oil & gas construction projects.

At least 3–5 years in a supervisory role on ARAMCO or similar projects.

Must be familiar with:

Saudi Aramco standards (SAES, SAMSS, SAEP)

IEC / NEC standards

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of oil & gas electrical systems and hazardous areas.

Ability to read IFC drawings, single line diagrams, and layouts.

Leadership and team management skills in a multicultural workforce.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.

Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Familiarity with project software and reporting tools.

Certifications (Preferred / Required)

Saudi Aramco Approved Supervisor (if applicable)

OSHA / NEBOSH / IOSH certification

First Aid & Safety Training

Work Permit Receiver certification (ARAMCO PTW system)

Working Conditions

Site-based role in remote gas field locations.

Exposure to extreme weather conditions (heat, dust).

Requires strict compliance with PPE and safety procedures.

May require extended working hours and rotation schedules.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Compliance with ARAMCO safety requirements (zero LTI incidents)

Completion of electrical works within schedule

Quality compliance with minimal NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)

Efficiency in manpower and resource utilization

Successful inspection approvals and commissioning milestones
