Experience/Job Description:

05 to 10 years related to job experience. The role revolves around safeguarding industrial assets by mitigating corrosion risks and optimizing material selection for various applications. Conducting corrosion assessments, identify potential corrosion mechanisms, and develop strategies to prevent or minimize corrosion damage to equipment and infrastructure. This involves analyzing material properties, environmental factors, and operating conditions to recommend suitable corrosion-resistant materials and coatings. Additionally, you’ll oversee material testing, failure analysis, and corrosion monitoring programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree relevant to Material, Metallurgy or chemical engineering.

Certification & Requirements

Material selection, corrosion prevention/control and failure analysis experience. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards. Experience with DM and their mitigation strategies. NACE Corrosion Specialist or equivalent.
