Assembly Manager

Production – Assembly

Job Purpose:

The Assembly Manager is responsible for managing all assembly operations to ensure products are assembled safely, efficiently, and according to approved quality standards while achieving production targets and delivery schedules.

The role includes manpower management, productivity improvement, process control, quality compliance, and coordination with Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse departments.

Required Experience:

5–10+ years in manufacturing assembly operations

Minimum 5 years in a leadership role managing assembly teams

Experience in:

Electrical assembly

Manufacturing environment

ERP systems

Production management

Team leadership

Experience in LED manufacturing is highly preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

LED manufacturing

Electrical manufacturing

Electronics assembly

The candidate should demonstrate:

Strong leadership personality

Ability to manage shop floor teams and foremen

Production control capability

Problem-solving skills

KPI management experience

Continuous improvement mindset

Ability to maintain discipline while improving productivity and quality

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assembly Operations Management

Manage daily assembly activities and ensure achievement of production targets.

Monitor assembly line performance and productivity.

Ensure smooth execution of daily production plans.

Balance workloads between assembly teams.

2. Production Execution

Ensure assembly follows approved Manufacturing Orders (MO).

Coordinate with Planning regarding:

Daily priorities

Material availability

Delivery requirements

Production schedules

3. Quality Compliance

4. Productivity Improvement

5. Team Management

6. Material & Warehouse Coordination

7. Daily Monitoring & Reporting

Daily production reports

Efficiency reports

Downtime reports

Manpower reports

Productivity reports

8. ERP / Odoo Compliance

9. Cross Functional Coordination
