We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer / Senior Planning Engineer to join our Shutdown & Turnaround team supporting major industrial plant maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and shutdown execution within refinery, petrochemical, power, or industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed shutdown and turnaround schedules using Primavera P6.

Coordinate with operations, maintenance, construction, and subcontractor teams.

Prepare baseline schedules, recovery plans, and progress tracking reports.

Monitor critical paths, manpower loading, and resource allocation.

Conduct daily and weekly progress reviews during shutdown execution.

Prepare look-ahead plans, productivity analysis, and delay assessments.

Support cost control and reporting activities related to shutdown projects.

Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety standards, and client requirements.

Participate in shutdown planning meetings and site coordination activities.

Requirements

Planning Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

5–7 years of experience in industrial shutdowns or turnaround projects.

Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.

Experience in refinery, petrochemical, power plant, or heavy industrial projects.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Senior Planning Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.

8+ years of shutdown/turnaround planning experience.

Proven experience leading planning activities for major shutdown projects.

Advanced Primavera P6 scheduling and reporting expertise.

Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
