About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Steel Structure Installation Project Manager to join our team for projects across Saudi Arabia. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of the steel structure installation, including the main structural erection and the assembly of the cladding and enclosure systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing safety, quality, progress, and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

– Project Management:

Plan, organize, and manage the installation of steel structures, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.

Supervise the erection of the main steel structure and the assembly of the cladding/enclosure system.

Develop and implement detailed project schedules and work plans.

– Safety Assurance:

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks to promote a safe working environment.

– Quality Control:

Oversee quality assurance measures to ensure that all installations meet project specifications and international standards.

Perform inspections and resolve quality-related issues in collaboration with the QA/QC team.

– Progress Monitoring:

Track project progress and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.

Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions to maintain timelines.

– Cost Management:

Monitor project budgets and control costs to avoid overruns.

Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

– Team Coordination:

Lead and supervise multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and senior management.

Qualifications and Requirements

– Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

– Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in steel structure installation projects, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Proven experience in large-scale projects.

– Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of steel structure erection, including heavy lifting operations and sequencing.

Proficiency in the assembly of cladding and enclosure systems.

Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.

– Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

– Other Requirements:

Knowledge of international safety and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 9001).

Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is a plus.

Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
