To monitor and ensure that all construction and installation activities performed by the contractor comply strictly with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES), Procedures (SAEP), and the project-specific Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).

Witness/Hold Points: Act as the primary authority at designated “Hold Points,” ensuring no work proceeds until the quality criteria are met.

Field Monitoring: Conduct daily site walk-throughs to identify potential quality issues before they become non-conformances.

Compliance: Ensure all activities align with SAES (e.g., [SAES-W-011 for Welding / SAES-Q-001 for Civil]).

2. Material & Equipment Control

Receiving Inspection: Verify that all materials (pipes, cables, valves, etc.) match the Purchase Order (PO) and have the correct 9COM/9CED numbers.

Storage & Preservation: Monitor that materials are stored according to manufacturer recommendations and Aramco storage standards to prevent degradation.

Traceability: Maintain 100% material traceability from the warehouse to the final installation point.

3. Documentation & Quality Records

ITP Management: Assist in the development and implementation of the project Inspection and Test Plan.

Quality Record Book (QRB): Compile and maintain the final Quality Record Book for project handover.

Reporting: Issue daily/weekly quality reports and maintain a log of all inspections performed.

4. Non-Conformance (NCR) & Corrective Action

NCR Issuance: Identify deviations from standards and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).

Root Cause Analysis: Work with the construction team to identify why a failure occurred and ensure a permanent fix.

Verification: Re-inspect repaired or replaced work to ensure it now meets Aramco requirements.

5. Personnel & Equipment Validation

Manpower Verification: Ensure that specialized workers (Welders, NDT Technicians, Jointer) have valid Aramco certifications/JCC cards.

Calibration: Verify that all testing equipment (pressure gauges, multi-meters, DFT gauges) has a valid calibration certificate from an Aramco-approved lab.

Required Qualifications

Approval Status: Must hold a valid Saudi Aramco SAP Number (Computer Based Test – CBT Passed).

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (5 years exp.) OR Diploma in Technical Field (10+ years exp.).

Industry Standards: Expert knowledge of SAES, SAEP, and SAMSS.

Certifications: [Insert Discipline Specific: e.g., CSWIP 3.1, NACE Level II, or ASNT Level II].

Soft Skills: High-level English communication (written and verbal) and proficiency in MS Office for reporting.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

RFI Success Rate: Percentage of inspections passed the first time.

NCR Closure: Speed and effectiveness of closing out open quality violations.

Safety Alignment: Ensuring quality inspections are performed without compromising site safety protocols.

Tip for your Resume/Job Posting: Always mention the specific Aramco CBT code (e.g., QM01, QM02) as this helps the recruitment team verify your credentials in the Aramco system immediately.
