Job Title: Asset Performance Management (APM) Specialist (Functional & Technical)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced APM Specialist with a unique blend of functional domain expertise and technical proficiency. In this role, you will bridge the gap between reliability engineering and IT systems—developing, implementing, and maintaining APM strategies while also handling technical deployments, integrations, and database support. You will play a critical role in optimizing asset performance, reducing downtime, and driving operational excellence across our asset portfolio.

What You’ll Do

Functional Responsibilities:

Develop and implement APM strategies across four core pillars:

Asset Reliability: RCM, FMEA, fault tree analysis

Asset Strategy: Asset prioritization, maintenance scheduling, resource allocation

Asset Safety: HIRA, SIS, SIL, regulatory compliance

Asset Integrity: Corrosion management, RBI 580/581, inspection & testing

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (maintenance, operations, safety) to solve business problems using APM methodologies.

Work with large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging APM technologies.

Develop and maintain documentation of APM solutions, results, and best practices.

Technical Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for APM deployment and ongoing operations.

Resolve technical issues related to APM platforms and integrations.

Build and maintain APM policies and configurations.

Manage APM Connect, PostgreSQL databases, and SQL Server databases.

Handle integrations using Boomi and SAP commands.

Develop and maintain scripts using Visual Basic as needed.

What You Bring (Qualifications & Requirements)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Reliability Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, OR Computer Science with strong programming and database skills.

Experience: 7+ years in asset management, reliability engineering, or maintenance management.

APM systems experience: Hands-on work with tools such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Strongly Preferred (Technical Proficiencies)

Proficiency with one or more of the following APM platforms:

GE Meridium

Baker Hughes Cordant

Cenosco IMS
