Job Description: Electrical Engineer

Specialization: Electrical Design & Load Calculations LV/MV Systems

Location: Dammam, KSA

Department: Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Experience :- 5–8 years of experience in industrial electrical design and engineering

Key Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Design & Engineering

• Prepare electrical system designs for LV and MV distribution systems.

• Perform electrical load calculations, demand analysis, and power distribution planning.

• Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and electrical layouts.

• Size electrical components, including cables, breakers, transformers, and protection devices.

• Design earthing and grounding systems for industrial installations.

2.System Planning & Technical Documentation

•Prepare cable schedules, panel schedules, and equipment specifications.

•Review vendor drawings and technical submissions to ensure design compliance.

•Support preparation of engineering deliverables such as BOQ, technical reports, and calculation sheets.

•Ensure designs comply with IEC, NEC, and Saudi electrical standards where applicable.

3.Project Support & Coordination

•Provide technical support during procurement, installation, and commissioning stages.

•Coordinate with mechanical, instrumentation, and process engineering teams for integrated system design.

•Review site installation work to ensure alignment with approved drawings and specifications.

•Support in troubleshooting electrical issues during commissioning and operation.

Education :-Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Experience:- 5–8 years of experience in industrial electrical design and engineering

Expertise :- Electrical load calculations, LV/MV system design, industrial power distribution

Software Skills:-Experience with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, Dialux or equivalent design tools

Technical Knowledge:- Familiarity with IEC standards, protection coordination, and power system calculations

Industry Experience:- Industrial plants, process units, or energy facilities preferred
