We need site Welding Engineer in Eastern Province.

Welding certification and Experience above 7 years is proffered.

The candidate should be capable of handling the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities.

Prepare and review welding procedures.

Establish NDT criteria and ensure compliance.

Arrange WQT (Welder Qualification Tests).

Prepare and coordinate approval of WPS and PQR with the Owner.

Review welding summaries and ensure NDT percentages meet project requirements.

Monitor site welding activities and resolve welding-related issues.

Arrange NDT reviews and obtain approvals from the Owner.

Additional Technical Responsibilities:

Review material certificates (MTCs) to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Verify welding consumables, including storage and handling.

Monitor preheat, interpass, and PWHT requirements.

Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, project specs, etc.).

Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and documentation.

Inform QA/QC to Issue NCRs or corrective actions for welding-related nonconformities.

Verify and maintain updated welder performance and welder logs.

Ensure proper documentation of WPS, PQR, and WQT for final handover.

Support and coordinate third-party inspections when required.

Prepare and review ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) related to welding.
