Senior Project Engineer (Construction)
Position Summary
The Senior Project Engineer supports the Project Manager with planning, coordination, problem-solving, and supervision of site activities.
Key Responsibilities
Review project drawings, technical specifications, and contractual documents.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and internal teams.
Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
Prepare technical submittals, method statements, and inspection requests (IRs).
Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
Track project progress, identify potential delays, and propose corrective actions.
Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Review material submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.
Assist in preparing variation orders, progress reports, and project updates.
Participate in testing, commissioning, and final handover procedures.
