Overview

We are looking for a highly creative, exceptionally talented Senior Graphic Packaging Designer to lead visual branding and packaging development for our extensive fruits and vegetables product portfolio. Our company produces plastic packaging, paper packaging, laminated packaging, and specialty multi-material solutions, with logos and branding printed directly onto the packaging materials.

This role is based in Riyadh, serving a high-demand, high-volume, multi-million SAR business with products distributed across major retail chains in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

Develop full brand identity systems for fresh-produce product lines:

Brand naming

Logo creation

Color schemes and visual language

Packaging design system across all SKUs

Design retail-ready packaging for fruits and vegetables using multiple materials:

Plastic pouches, polybags, films, shrink sleeves

Paper boxes, cartons, sleeves, kraft packaging

Laminated films, multi-layer packaging, and specialty materials

Create packaging artwork that integrates logos, patterns, and branding into the material printing.

Develop extensive, cohesive product-line packaging for large retail shelves (hundreds of SKUs).

Work closely with suppliers and printing partners to ensure accurate color reproduction, material compatibility, and high print quality.

Perform market research to understand consumer behavior and packaging trends within Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

Prepare and deliver print-ready files, including die-lines, bleed, color separations, and material specifications.

Ensure compliance with Saudi FDA labeling rules, barcode standards, and retailer requirements.

Collaborate with production, operations, procurement, and marketing teams to maintain brand consistency across all packaging.

Uphold high creative standards, producing original, premium visual concepts suited for a competitive retail environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Packaging Designer, ideally in fruits, vegetables, or FMCG retail packaging.

Strong portfolio showing designs for plastic, paper, laminated, and specialty packaging materials.

Ability to create a brand from scratch: name → logo → color palette → packaging system.

Advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and packaging-specific workflows.

Deep understanding of flexographic, digital, rotogravure, offset, and screen printing processes.

Experience managing large product lines with consistent branding across many SKUs.

Strong creativity, innovation, and ability to work under pressure in a high-demand environment.

Must be located in Saudi Arabia, preferably Riyadh, or willing to relocate.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
