Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Travel Consultant to assist clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for travel, and a keen eye for detail to provide personalized travel experiences that meet clients’ needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with clients to determine their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements.

Research and recommend suitable travel options, including flights, hotels, tours, and transportation.

Book and confirm travel reservations accurately using various booking systems and tools.

Provide detailed travel itineraries and ensure all travel arrangements are seamless.

Stay updated on travel industry trends, visa requirements, and destination information.

Handle travel-related inquiries, changes, and cancellations promptly and professionally.

Upsell additional travel services such as travel insurance, excursions, or upgrades.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Collaborate with airlines, hotels, and other vendors to secure the best deals for clients.

Maintain accurate records of bookings, client preferences, and correspondence.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role.

Excellent knowledge of travel destinations, systems, and booking platforms.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and travel booking software.

Certification or training in travel and tourism is a plus.

Working Conditions:

Typically works in an office or travel agency environment.

May require flexibility to work evenings or weekends during peak travel seasons.
