Position Overview:
Al Baraka Logistic is urgently seeking a Transport Executive to join our growing operations
team. The ideal candidate should have basic logistics experience and some knowledge of GCC
transport regulations. This role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to
manage multiple operational tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Transport Coordination: Arrange drivers for client assignments, ensuring timely and
efficient delivery.
2. Financial Management: Handle transport expense payments, monitor account balances,
and maintain accurate daily financial records.
3. Reporting: Prepare daily reports (including GCC petty cash) and generate monthly
driver bonus reports.
4. Driver Support: Coordinate with drivers, assist with cross-border documentation (Saudi,
Kuwait, UAE visas), and verify loading/unloading activities.
5. Safety Compliance: Conduct safety checks, arrange safety trainings for SULB drivers,
and apply for GCC transport insurance.
6. Documentation: Verify and prepare all exit documents for drivers leaving Bahrain,
ensuring compliance with regulations.
7. Garage Coordination: Support the garage team with driver scheduling and logistics
assistance.
8. Team Collaboration: Follow up with operations teams to ensure smooth loading and
driver support.
9. Cash Handling: Manage petty cash, currency exchange, and disbursement for transport
related needs.
10. Systems Management: Monitor the vehicle tracking and appointment booking systems.
11. Availability: Be available 24/7 to respond to urgent operational issues.
Requirements:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• 1–2 years of experience in logistics or transport coordination
• Basic understanding of GCC transport and customs regulations
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ability to learn on new systems.
• Must be able to work under pressure and handle urgent tasks.
• Speaks Urdu, English.
