Job Purpose: The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, managing tenders and proposals, and expanding the company’s client base in the logistics, heavy equipment, and trading sectors. The role requires strong experience with government and oil & gas tenders, and proficiency in the JSRS (Joint Supplier Registration System) and related portals for prequalification and bid submissions. Key Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the logistics, heavy equipment, and industrial trading sectors. Manage the entire tender process — from identifying opportunities to preparing, submitting, and following up on bids. Register, maintain, and update the company’s profile in the JSRS portal and other vendor registration systems (PDO, OQ, OXY, Be’ah, etc.). Review tender documents, understand scope, and coordinate with operations, finance, and management to prepare competitive proposals. Prepare commercial and technical bids, ensuring compliance with client specifications and company policies. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government entities, and major oil & gas companies. Conduct market research to identify new tenders, client requirements, and emerging market trends. Ensure timely submission of all tender documents and follow up with clients for updates and feedback. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms within company guidelines. Support management in preparing sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and revenue reports. Collaborate with the finance team for bid bonds, performance guarantees, and other tender-related documentation. Maintain accurate sales and tender records for reporting and audits. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related field. Minimum 4–6 years of experience in B2B or industrial sales, preferably in logistics, construction, or oil & gas sectors. Proven experience in tender management and JSRS registration is mandatory. Strong knowledge of Omani tender procedures, e-tendering portals, and local procurement systems. Excellent English communication and negotiation skills (Arabic is an advantage). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tender preparation tools. Strong presentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working under pressure and deadlines. Employment Type: Full-time Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sunday–Thursday) Salary: Based on experience and qualifications
