Salary based on Qualifications Job Purpose: The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of Red Sun Trading LLC, including bookkeeping, invoicing, cost control, and financial reporting. The role ensures compliance with Omani tax laws, internal company policies, and supports management with accurate financial analysis for decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate accounting records in accordance with IFRS and Omani regulations. Handle daily accounting entries (receipts, payments, sales invoices, purchase bills, petty cash). Prepare and reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers. Process supplier payments and monitor accounts payable/receivable. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Coordinate with the external auditor for annual audits. Maintain and update fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules. Prepare VAT returns, ensure compliance with Oman Tax Authority requirements. Monitor and control project-related expenses, cost allocations, and profit margins. Generate management reports, including cash flow, income, and expense analyses. Support procurement and logistics teams with cost data and financial approvals. Ensure timely payroll processing and proper documentation of employee advances. Assist management in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred). Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in accounting (preferably in logistics, trading, or construction). Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and financial reporting. Proficient in Tally ERP / QuickBooks / SAP and Microsoft Excel. Familiar with Oman Labour Law and Omani VAT system. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. High integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Employment Type: Full-time Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Sunday–Thursday) Salary: Based on experience and qualifications
