QAQC Welding Inspector

Experience: 5+ years

Rate – After Interview

Location- Al Jubail

Duration — 3 to 4 months

FAT – Provided only if outside Jubail

Payment terms : 30 days from approved timesheet

Responsibilities

* Inspection: Conduct quality control inspections of welding processes and completed welds to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.

* Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, highlighting any non-conformance and necessary corrective actions.

* Collaboration: Work closely with welders and project managers to resolve any welding issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.

* Compliance: Ensure all welding activities adhere to relevant safety and quality regulations.

* Training: Provide guidance and support to the welding team to improve overall quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, specializing in Mechanical or a related discipline.

* Certification: AWS or CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or equivalent and ASNT Level II in MT, PT, UT & VT.

* Experience: Previous experience in welding inspection, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and standards.

* Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding specifications.

* Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail to identify defects or non-compliance.
