Seeking skilled CNC Lathe Turners (experienced CNC Operators) for oilfield equipment manufacturing & maintenance. Focus on precision turning of components compliant with API Spec 7-1 (rotary drill stem) & API Spec 5CT
Key Duties:
Operate CNC lathes for turning operations per engineering drawings.
Set up tools, perform turning cycles, and adjust for API-compliant threads/connections.
Ensure precision turning with tolerances (±0.001″), surface finishes, and adherence to API 7-1 / 5CT standards.
Inspect parts using gauges, micrometers, and CMM; troubleshoot lathe issues.
Maintain equipment, follow safety protocols (OSHA/API), and optimize efficiency.
Requirements:
2–3 years CNC operation/turning experience in oil/gas (mandatory).
Hands-on with lathe turning, precision measuring tools, and blueprint interpretation.
Knowledge of API 7-1 / 5CT standards for threads and tubulars (mandatory).
Strong detail-oriented mindset for quality and safety.
